My grandaunt's son's....who?

Today is also the wedding day of my maternal grandaunt's son's son's daughter - sort of a distance relative for me. But again, counting on the generation levels, I'm 'technically' the bride's aunt, since I am one generation above her! That's how funny things can get...I dun have any idea on how to address her!

The banquet is held at a 5-star hotel, located in between KLCC and Pavillion...
It's not the couple nor the food i'm interested with, but I m more excited to be out of house...seeing things and practising my photoshooting skills...
Some artistic paintings displayed at the lobby area, I seriously dunno how to interpret these paintings!
Chinese Porcelain
The view outside
NO DURIAN??!!
Wonderful lightings!
Comfortable sofas
Not-so-spiral staircase
Evening skyline at the city
oh...lovely!
Typical table setting
Door gift...mmnnn..what's in the box? Some decor on the table

IKEA

I have been to IKEA for many times, but most of the time, i did not get to take picture. IKEA is one of my fav hang-out place, most probably b'coz of its ice cream and hot dog...
*not the furniture that i m interested with!
Went there on last week. It was quite early when we reached that area as to avoid problem in getting a parking space. The day was early, as you can see the restaurants just opened at The Curve and no one is dining. We went to IKEA to have our brunch, but before that, we walked past Ikano.
Went in for a pee...
Reaching IKEA!
IKEA famous hotdog.
Hotdog: $2 + free flow of soft drink: $1
Some illegal pictures we took at IKEA. Home-sweet-home!
Tea or coffee? Some display item...
Their user-friendly price tag
A very simple kitchen
Sort of a mini kitchen for small apartments
And the expensive one..RM 9,905 for a kitchen cabinet???!!
Mocking a meal...just cabbage???
Brinjal for lunch!
It's fake!
My home, nice or not?
After a good walk, we went to have a stop at their foodcourt and i finally manage to taste their famous Swedish meatball. Unfortunately i did not get to take the picture, but anyway, it was delicious!
And their ice-cream is not bad too!
It took us more than half a day to hang around, coz we also lepak at Ikano, The Curve, Tesco and Cathay Cineleisure Complex.

Xenri

Went to Xenri for some Japanese food. First time trying out their food. It is almost like Kiku Zakura, except that the ambience is different. I ordered bento set, meanwhile sis ordered tempura set. Some of the pictures I took...

This mini pot stores soya sauce!
Free-flow green tea
Bento Set, yummylicious!
Snapshot of each portion of the bento set, starts with Teriyaki Chicken
Food is so-so...But the raw salmon is thick and fresh. Too raw fresh that I felt abit disgusting eating it!
Cold noodles...abit weird for my taste bud!
Creamy Mayonnaise Tuna Tempura Set
Crunchy tempura prawn! Love it!

This time sis settled the bill, as she can get 25% discount!

Since her office is just nearby, I lepak there for awhile before we went home ;-)

Intuition?

I felt that these days my intuition are always correct. It's amazingly strange.
Just a few days ago, I have some weird strong sense that MT was inside the elevator. The elevator door opened, and MT was really there!
And in another occasion, I have put my phone into silent mode, and placed it under the table. It was in such a way that I will not aware of any calls since I couldn't see the light blinking nor hear the vibration. I almost forgot that I have to pick up an important call, but the moment I realised, I immediately checked my phone and saw the light blinking. I picked up the phone just in time!
And that was the only single call that the person made, as there wasn't any missed call earlier!
Yesterday was an amazing one, although it wasn't much related to intuition, but that was sort of a mission impossible. I was in the car driving back home, but somehow, it struck my mind that I need to collect some documents from the bank. I checked the time, it shows 3:55pm. The bank closed at 4. I tot of giving it a try, though it seemed impossible coz it take some 5 minutes to reach to that place and parking is also an issue in a commercial area. However I managed to get a nice parking lot just right in front of the bank. I rushed out of the car as soon as I got all the documents prepared. The moment I reached the doorstep, the guard was on his way to pull the grill down. I managed to get in as the last customer!
There were only certain times in my life where my six sense are correct, and these are some of the rare occassions!

Dinner Treat

In conjunction with mum's birthday (which falls on today), we went for a dinner somewhere nearby. The dinner treat is also to celebrate the much delayed "Mother's Day" and also my first 5-figure pay cheque which i got last month.
It was around 8:40pm when we went out, thus we chose a restaurant with less patron, hoping the food to be served fast. We ordered 4 dishes, which were served in less than 15 minutes upon ordering! Here are the pictures...

'Fu Yu' Tapioca leaves

Sweet & Sour pork

Claypot Tofu

A 'birthday dinner' is not complete without a fish, thus we ordered 'Assam' Fish!

Foods are nice, service is good and suprisingly, the meal doesn't cost much...
I'm still wondering why that restaurant doesn't have much people...when its next door was crowded!
While on our way back, we drop-by some bakery shop, tot of buying a cake for her. While sis was busy looking for cakes, I snap some photos of their interior decor...
However, it turn out that we did not buy any cake coz mum dun wan it...She's more interested in having a hot dog at IKEA! OK lor, so tomoro go IKEA lor...

Apart from my mum's birthday, today is also a special day for a blogger fren, Canny Har.

Happy Birthday, Canny! (hope it's not too late!)

The Loaf, Nu Sentral

[ Throwback ] This was my lunch sometime ago in early December when the team had meeting with our boss in Nu Sentral. I ordered the chicken ...
